Sawing

• • $150/hr starting when I arrive on site and ending when I hook up the mill at the end of the job or leave for the day

    • 4 hour minimum up to 40 miles away, after that it's an additional 1 hour minimum for every 10 additional miles (i.e. 50 miles would be a minimum of 5 hours).

    • 5 min/hr downtime is included in rate (i.e. 20 minute break every 4 hours) not including routine maintenance like blade changes, refueling, etc.  (This time is typically not used unless the customer wants to take breaks.)

  • Fees

    • $1.50/mile round trip transportation fee .  

    • $40/blade replacement fee for hitting foreign objects in logs i.e. nails, rocks, etc.

    • If logs are in multiple piles an additional mill setup fee of $50/setup after the initial setup in addition to the hourly rate may be applied (may not apply to larger jobs)

    • If a blades dulls prematurely due to excessively dirty logs, a $10/blade sharping fee may apply
